As a delivery driver, I got a crash course in customer experience that no focus group can replicate. I saw how a coupon saved a Friday night. I felt the stress of the rush and the relief of a hot delivery. I didn’t have to guess what the stores were up against. I lived it.

We built our digital presence to be like a machine. We architected a design system to replace the one-off chaos with precision efficiency. We needed to speak to loyal Rewards members and dietary-specific customers without breaking the brand. I built a framework that allowed us to produce hundreds of custom graphics annually. It was about building a consistent, visual relationship that drove actual revenue with speed.

I knew our differentiator was "Edge to Edge" abundance, so my strategy was aggressive: Turn the camera into a microscope. We embraced macro shots. We used lighting to make every cupped pepperoni glisten and every shred of cheese feel essential.

THE "NOT SORRY" APPROACH
Unapologetic abundance was our strategic weapon. While the competition hides their product behind wide angles, we zoomed in. We applied this visual message across print and web, creating a seamless system. Whether it was flyers on a door handle or the homepage of the site, the story was consistent.

Design means nothing if it doesn't serve people.
One of my proudest moments wasn't a sales record. It was designing the jerseys for the Donatos "Powered By Pepperoni" Pelotonia team, raising money for cancer research. Seeing those kits worn for a vital cause was a distinct reminder of the real-world weight this work carries.

Walking past a Someone holding a pizza box I designed? That never got old.
Seeing the work out in the wild, was the best part. It’s a specific kind of joy to know you built something that millions of people interact with on a Friday night.
I started this ride as a delivery driver drawing on boxes, to leading the brand design for 464 locations across 29 states. It let me see this business from the street level up to the boardroom. I’ve loved the ride, and I’m ready for whatever comes next.
